    This intensive course provides a full understanding of the ISPS Code, how to implement the code and comply with Australia’s MT&OFS 2003 regulations, fulfill the documentation requirements, and maintain an effective security management system.

    • Knowledge of the ISPS Code & the Australian MT&OFS Act & Regulations

    • Security assessments: vulnerabilities and treatments

    • Security plans – structure, development, maintenance and going beyond compliance

    • Maritime security levels, responding to security threats & directions – chain of command

    • Correct usage of the “Declaration of Security”

    • Terrorist behaviour and methods of concealment of weapons of terrorism

    • Bomb searches and crowd control – security evacuation procedures
